My ladybug came to me today and said Jenn I think a blog would be good for me but...

 

what would I blog about, I don't know?

 

So I told my ladybug Lucki is her name :), she's a cutie... So I told her what my teacher told me...

 

I. Blogging

   A. Definition: A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world. Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules. In simple terms, a blog is a website, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or email. you. or not.

 

  B. Publish your thoughts

          1. A blog gives you your own voice on the web. It's a place to collect and share things that you find interesting-whether it's your political commentary, a personal diary, or links to websites you want to remember. Many people use a blog just to organize their own thoughts, while others command influential, worldwide audiences of thousands. Professional and amateur journalists use blogs to publish breaking news, while personal journalists reveal inner thoughts.

 

 

   C. Engage you Friends

          1. Blogging is about more than just putting your thoughts on the web. It's about connecting with and hearing from anyone who reads your work.

 

II. Purpose of Blogging

   A. Coming up with a blogging concept

         a. Ask yourself what you love.

         b. Think about how you want to help people.

         c. Share your passion and heart with the world.

 

I don't want to be overwhelming so on the next post I will include a list of guidelines for beginning bloggers. As always if there are someone on my page (LOL).
